DESCRIPTION.-

     Goddess breastfeeding. Rumina.

REMARKS.-

     In Roman mythology, Rumina was a goddess who protected breastfeeding mothers. Rumina's temple was near the Ficus Ruminalis, at the foot of the Palatine Hill, where Romulus and Remus were suckling by a she-wolf.
