Advertisement in The Catalan Woman of Barcelona dated 20.12.1935 of the Rob-Vida syrup, prepared since 1922 in the laboratory of S. Miret, chemist-pharmacist in San Pedro de Ribas, Barcelona. It contained sodium phosphate and tinctures of Kola nut, cinchona, quassia, quassia and walnut vomica. It was sold as a restorative during pregnancy and lactation, as a fortifier for the foetus and as a galactogogue. An image of the product from the Museu de la Farmàcia Catalana can be seen here.
«Una buena madre no descuida tomar Rob-Vida Miret, durante el embarazo el número 1 ……., durante la lactancia el número 2, que provoca un aumento considerable de leche rica en manteca y caseína, y repone a la madre de todo el desgaste provocado por la crianza natural.
