Medal for a "Baby Contest", which were very popular in the first half of the 20th century. On the obverse a mother breastfeeding in front of a cradle and under the legend "Health and Beauty by Hygiene". The reverse reads "Baby Contest" and "Honour 1912". Edited by Bory and possibly signed by René Auguste Debarre (1883 - 1969).
The medal bears the stylistic stamp of Art Nouveau.
